Job Summary:
- The youth counselor supports youth experiencing a mental health crisis in our children’s crisis settings.
- This service is designed to support youth in the community instead of them living in a hospital, hotel or detention center.
- In this role, you will provide support to youth by implementing interventions identified in their therapeutic support plan and engaging in all daily activities with clients.
- This includes supporting them with hygiene and daily tasks, cooking, maintaining their schedule, taking them into the community and managing behaviors when necessary. Mount Olivet Rolling Acres - MORA – is a diverse and inclusive nonprofit has supported adults, seniors and children with developmental disabilities, behavioral health needs as well as age-related and chronic medical conditions for over 50 years in the Twin Cities metro.
