Job Overview

Year-long locum for a collaborative maternity practice of midwives and family doctors serving a diverse population. Starting as soon as possible, with a strong possibility of continued work.

Responsibilities

• Perform 12‑hour call shifts.


• Occasional 24‑hour call shifts.


• Clinic shifts.


• Assist with hospital assessments and deliveries in partnership with nursing staff and other consultants.

Qualifications

• Comfort working in rural areas; ability to transfer high‑risk clients such as preterm labours to tertiary centres.


• Strong commitment to communication and teamwork.


• Ability to quickly connect and build rapport with clientele.
