Wireless Protocol Software Engineer – System API configuration

We are open to hiring in our Fleet (UK) and Milan (Italy offices) for this role.

Keysight is looking for a Wireless Protocol Software Engineer with strong 3GPP protocol expertise to develop robust software capabilities and APIs for system configuration , working close to standards and real implementations.

In this role, you will translate evolving 3GPP specifications into system‑level configurability , enabling reliable configuration and validation of protocol behavior across UE and base station emulation . You will contribute to early 6G pre‑standard implementation activities , partnering across disciplines to deliver high‑quality solutions.

This position sits at the intersection of protocol standards , software engineering , and system configuration APIs , within a multi‑site international environment .
