Windows & Linux Systems Administrator (5410)

SMX is seeking a Windows / Linux System Administrator to support our customer on-site at NAS Patuxent River. This role focuses on hands-on support of hardware/software and operating systems.

The System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring all systems remain compliant, secure, and operational through proper administration including patching, scanning, backups, and more.

The ideal candidate will bring strong Windows and Linux experience.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

+ Provide hardware support for all customer systems
+ Support installation, configuration, and sustainment of operating systems and application software
+ Perform compliance assurance activities, including applying STIGs, patching, backups, and scans
