The Purpose
The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality instruction to all students—including high school students and adult learners—in alignment with Blue Ridge Community College’s Open Door policy. The ultimate goal is to meet the occupational and general educational needs of students through curriculum, continuing education, and workforce training courses. Classes may be scheduled during the day, evening, or weekends and may be delivered at multiple locations within the College’s service area.
This is a 9-month faculty position. The role will primarily support instruction at Brevard and Rosman High Schools and follow the Transylvania County Schools calendar. Any additional work outside of the 9-month assignment will be compensated on an adjunct basis at the established full-time adjunct rate.
