Build car bodies in the body stop

Primary function is welding

Ship a car body out – all of the assembly requirements, quality checks fall under this group

Motivator – some of the team has shift off to support a car launch

Typical Day in the Role

Supervise Mechanics and Electricians in Body Shop

Start up meeting daily – 30 minutes before the shift starts

On the floor all day – helping with maintaining production lines and responding to breakdowns in order to keep the line moving

Manage team – payroll, safety, quality, any help that is needed as far as getting spare parts from the crib or ordering them

Once a week they will report out on their thruput process – what they are doing to make their area run better, talk about business plan deploym...
