Our client Sunshine Coast Steel & Rig is seeking qualified tradespeople to cut, shape, join, and repair structural steel components, boilers, pressure vessels, and iron products. The successful candidates will execute tasks precisely aligned with Australian Standards and national training frameworks. In this stable, long-term role, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, joining, and repairing structural steel components and heavy equipment. You will work within a modern workshop environment executing tasks aligned with Australian Standards and benchmarks. There are multiple roles available. Core Responsibilities Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret structural blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols. Material Preparation: Clean, mark out, and prepare metal stock and structural sections.
