Welder/Grinder/Fabricator

Penmac Staffing is hiring a Welder/Grinder/Fabricator for a local manufacturing client in Springfield, MO. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity for a skilled welder with stainless steel fabrication experience who values quality, accuracy, and safety.Requirements for the Welder/Grinder/Fabricator

High School Diploma or equivalent

Two years of fabrication experience preferred

MIG and TIG welding experience (approximately 60/40 split)

Ability to weld stainless steel in 1G–6G positions and pass an ASME/PED weld test

Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and tape measures

Basic math skills and strong attention to detail

Proficient with hand tools, fabrication equipment, and measuring devices

Physically able to stand 8+ hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and wear required PPE

Willingness to work in confined spaces and varying temperatures

Knowledge of Continuous Improvement or Lean/Six Sigma is a plus
