**Job Description**
The Welder Foreman oversees and performs MIG welding on structural steel within a busy fabrication shop, ensuring high-quality welds, accurate fit-up, and safe handling of large structural components. This role combines hands-on welding and fitting work with the responsibility to interpret blueprints and weld symbols, support material handling operations, and contribute to the efficient production of large-scale structural steel assemblies.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding on structural steel components using a wire feed gun in accordance with project specifications and welding procedures.
+ Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols to determine weld locations, sizes, and techniques required for each assembly.
