Job Description

• Welding: Use various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) to fuse metal pieces together according to blueprints and specifications.
• Fabrication: Cut, shape, and assemble metal components for construction or manufacturing purposes.
• Inspection: Inspect welded areas for defects or imperfections and ensure welds meet quality standards and codes.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on welding equipment and tools.
• Safety: Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing protective gear, maintaining a safe workspace, and following OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• Welding certification may be required depending on the employer
• Prior experience or training in welding preferred
