Warehouse Operative

The main purpose of this role is to prepare and load all orders for retailers in compliance with Health & Safety Rules.

Key Responsibilities

• To complete barrow checks before starting. Signing them in and out and documenting any faults.
• To ensure all minimum date stock is used and correct labels ordered.
• To pick and strap pallets when required.
• To check the minus sheet for orders and to ensure Numbers are correct.
• To prepare the electronic / manual load plan (depending on retailer)
• To check pallets and labels are correct.
• To ensure the order is complete in full – compare the load plan against the order.
• Ensure before loading vehicle, the keys are handed into office and time documented on log.
• To check temperature and hygiene of lorry as per SOP.
• To ensure the load is secure with Bar or Straps.
