The candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, perform machining operations, and ensure quality standards are maintained. Key ResponsibilitiesOperate Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) machines safely and efficiently. Load and unload workpieces using appropriate lifting equipment. Read and understand engineering drawings and process sheets. Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces as per job requirements. Monitor machining operations and make minor tool offset corrections. Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and Bore Gauge.
