VP Business Development (Middle East Oil Products)

Overview

Responsible for developing Argus oil product pricing and indexation in the Middle East and East Africa. The role is a strategic, industry-facing position reporting to the Head of MEISA and focuses on influencing market participants to adopt Argus price references.

Key Responsibilities

• Arrange and conduct face‑to‑face meetings with industry decision makers, including national oil companies, traders, refiners, and government regulators.
• Explain and promote Argus price indices and benchmarking methodology to enhance usage in supply contracts.
• Represent Argus at conferences, business events, and government forums to raise brand visibility.
• Identify and shape changes to price indexation based on industry feedback to ensure market relevance.
