Join METRAC as a Volunteer Bookkeeper, where you will support essential financial operations. This role requires collaboration with various teams and proficiency in QuickBooks to enhance financial accuracy.
You will report directly to the Executive Director, assisting with budgeting, maintaining up-to-date records, and complying with financial regulations. Your contributions will also involve monthly reporting and preparation of financial statements, vital for maintaining our clarity and efficiency in program operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support budgeting and reporting for financial accuracy
• Maintain up-to-date records in compliance with tax laws
• Monitor financial controls and systems
• Prepare and enter A/P and A/R into QuickBooks
• Generate invoices and tax receipts for METRAC
Requirements:
• Understanding of non-profit financial management
• High level of discretion and confidentiality
• Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented mindset
