VMC Milling Machine Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled VMC Milling Machine Operator who has a strong understanding of NC programming and is able to set up the machine for the next production run. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining the VMC milling machine, as well as ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities: · Understand and interpret NC programs and blueprints to operate the VMC milling machine · Set up the machine for the next production run by selecting proper tooling, fixtures, and workholding · Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of the machine to ensure optimal performance · Verify workpiece dimensions using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges · Monitor machine performance to ensure it is running properly and make necessary adjustments · Troubleshoot issues and problems that arise during production runs · Collaborate with other team members to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficientl...
