Visual Information Specialist (Social Media)

Summary This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the JBSA Randolph Marketing Office. This is a Regular Part-Time category position with guaranteed 20 hrs. per week. Employees appointed into a regular category position are eligible for benefits. Responsibilities Must be able to work on their own as they develop, manage and execute the 502 FSS social media strategy. Manages messaging, sources, and develops visual imagery for posts in alignment with the FSS marketing strategy. Works with cross-functional flights/sections to inform, educate, and conduct announcements to the JBSA customer base regarding MWR facilities, programs, and events by using expert knowledge of marketing principles and research, to develop a marketing plan to reach a squadron/flight specific targeted audience.
