The Vice Provost drives institutional growth by identifying regional market opportunities and ensuring that all academic activities reflect Newcastle University’s commitment to global excellence and local relevance.

Role Overview

The Vice Provost plays a key role in the operation of the Malaysia campus, contribute to its ambitions for growth, and support in-country delivery of the campus transformation plan. Areas of focus include academic portfolio, quality of delivery, regulatory compliance, and enhancing the student experience. The postholder supports the CEO, Regional Provost and Faculty PVCs in line-managing academic operations in Malaysia to ensure the success of the faculties’ ambitions and educational agendas.
