Vice-President (Research and Innovation)

Location: Guelph, ON, CA

Reporting to the President and Vice‑Chancellor, the Vice‑President (Research and Innovation) is the internal and external advocate for research and innovation, providing leadership and vision in shaping strategic priorities across research, knowledge mobilization, social and policy innovation, creative inquiry and commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the University’s research and innovation enterprise, promoting the research mission and celebrating achievements.
• Shape and communicate strategic priorities, including knowledge mobilization, open science, open access, research impact and commercialization.
• Build and strengthen relationships with industry, communities and governments at local, provincial, national and international levels.
