**Purpose and Scope:**
Lead the business development efforts for assigned business line.

**Essential Responsibilities:**

+ Lead and manage the organization's overall business development efforts, ensuring that business development staff is adequately trained; coordinating workloads, priorities, and schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of work; and monitoring and evaluating staff performance.
+ Responsible for all government relations, including developing relationships with government agencies and their technical, contract, and procurement staff.
+ In conjunction with the President & CEO, Division leaders, and others inside and outside the organization, develop business development objectives, strategies, and plans for the corporation.
