Vice President & General Manager

Nexstar Media, Inc., America’s largest local broadcasting company, is seeking a highly motivated Vice President/ General Manager to lead WIAT (CBS) in Birmingham, Alabama (DMA #45), as well as all digital, mobile, and social assets associated with the station. The GM will also serve as the station’s Director of Sales.


The ideal candidate will utilize their proven skillsets and extensive experience in leading broadcast operational teams with sales-driven organizations, including a strong understanding of advanced digital ad solutions, and new business development. Additionally, this candidate will possess a strong background in developing locally originated content for multiple platforms (OTT, linear, web, social), driving audience engagement, and increasing our overall reach.
