Via Ferrata Guide

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on route and weather conditions and advise on route closures.
  Advise on repairs and assist with repairs or maintenance.
• Ensure the safety of guests by giving effective, encouraging instruction through the ViaFerrata.
  Act as first responder in emergency or health or safety situations and request additional resources.
• Liaise in emergency situations, communicating with key contacts until situation is resolved.
• Assess condition of injured parties; administer first aid treatment, guest extrication and transition to emergency personnel if required.
• Participate or lead in rope or helicopter evacuation of injured/sick guests.
• Participate or lead in gondola and lift evacuation.
• Assist the BikePark as required with risk management and incident response.
