Veterinary Nurse II

Position Summary

The College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Veterinary Nurse to support our small animal clinical trials activities for the internal medicine and medical oncology services. Responsibilities include:


+ Data input into electronic database/Excel

+ Scheduling potential and active trial cases (al appropriate time for trial needs and clinician availability)

+ Communicating with trial clients and veterinarians regarding potential enrollees or ongoing trial questions

+ Scheduling diagnostic tests and facilitating data collection

+ Communicating charges and associated accounts to the business office

+ Coordinating sample transport (within campus, external shipments)

+ Drafting information regarding upcoming trials to be circulated to referring DVMs and the public

+ Preparing reports
