Responsibilities

• Conducts proper monitoring of health condition by doing daily rounds.
• Initiates prompt identification, medication and management of sick animals.
• Diagnoses disease or any abnormal conditions through physical and behavioral observation as a basis for proper treatment.
• Prescribes proper treatment and medication to sick animals depending on the clinical signs shown by the animals.
• Accomplishes routine, emergency and post‑mortem examination (Necropsy) that can aid in proper diagnosis.
• Collects samples such as blood, serum, tissue sample, water, feeds, intestinal contents for laboratory testing.
• Performs an epidemiological evaluation of disease outbreaks, disease movement, and seasonality of disease to establish preventive measures.
• Monitors the mortality and morbidity rate of all departments being supervised and collects data of established facts.
