Variable Hours Officer- CT Technologist

Under supervision, the Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to obtain required images for diagnosis, research and therapeutic procedures. Will routinely perform all duties assigned consistent with Department's commitment to providing quality health care services in a compassionate and humane manner. Adheres to work standards as outlined in departmental manuals.

Responsibilities

COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY: This technologist performs diagnostic, research, and therapeutic procedures. Including assisting the Radiologist with CT guided biopsies and aspirations.
