Valuation Department Head

Job Description

• Lead actuarial valuation activities, including technical reserves and policy liabilities.
• Oversee actuarial reporting, financial valuation, and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze actuarial assumptions, portfolio profitability, and Asset Liability Management (ALM).
• Drive process improvements, risk management, and audit follow-up.
• Lead and develop the actuarial team to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of actuarial experience, preferably in the life insurance industry.
• FSAI certification or equivalent actuarial qualification is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of actuarial valuation, Prophet, ALM, and life insurance products.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, analytical, and communication skills.
