Wage Range for Operator 1: $23.06 - $32.46

NATURE OF WORK

This is an entry level position performing general labor tasks that support the Wastewater Treatment Plant.

This position is intended to be an entry level transitional position that allows the incumbent the opportunity to gain exposure to and knowledge of the various utility departments within the City. It is expected that Utility Workers are preparing for and will move into a higher skilled position within the Department of Utilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Performs general labor activities to support the Utility departments. Perform general construction and maintenance. Perform other work which is consistent with the essential functions of the job. Perform preventative maintenance checks on equipment.
