Utility Systems Repairer-Operator Supervisor

Summary This position is organizationally aligned under the Engineering Service Line at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital (578), Hines, IL - a complexity level 1a VHA facility. The primary purpose of the position is to function as a Supervisor for Utility System Repairer Operators and Boiler Plant staff - and the unit mission is to ensure the installation, repair, troubleshooting, service and maintenance, and all other operations at the Joliet CBOC and Hines Boiler Pant. Responsibilities Major Duties Include: Establishing the Scope of Work, forecasts funding, estimates the project timeline and procurement strategies, along with ensuring proper coordination and implementation of associated maintenance and repair, construction, renovation, testing, and equipment installation projects.
