Utilities Infrastructure Technician

**Amentum** is seeking a **Utilities Infrastructure Technician** in the Williamsburg area. The Utilities Infrastructure Technician provides critical ground-level support for overhead and underground power systems while assisting in the operation and maintenance of medium voltage (up to 13.2 kV) switchgear and controls. This hybrid role requires a unique blend of physical stamina for field line work and technical proficiency for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and shop-based electrical repairs.

**Core Responsibilities**

+ **Line & Infrastructure Support:** Assist electrical lineman in the installation and repair of overhead and underground transmission systems. Tasks include digging trenches/pole holes, framing poles, pulling wire, and grounding systems safely.
