Job Summary
A Node.js/Typescript engineer working in a small, agile team to develop REST and event-driven microservices. The team focuses on caching and reporting to improve customer experience, scaling to millions of REST and Kafka events each day. Engineers design and implement scalable, dependable systems and are expected to be self‑starters, capable of handling responsibility and decision‑making.
Required Qualifications
Strong backend experience with Typescript implementing REST APIs
Understanding of DynamoDB or other key‑value stores and NoSQL databases
Strong mindset and willingness to learn new domains and technologies
Expertise in end‑to‑end understanding of the system and testing services
Experience with test‑driven development and automated testing frameworks
Experience using AWS managed services
