RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Plan and provide rigorous, engaging instruction addressing NYS curriculum standards.
+ Use culturally and linguistically responsive practices to instruct students of varying cultural backgrounds.
+ Collaborate with teachers, related service providers and support staff to provide a team-oriented approach.
+ Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, strengths and needs.
+ Collect and record data regarding student progress toward established goals.
+ Participate in team meetings to provide pre-referral strategies and interventions to support students in general education settings.
+ Use a variety of interventions to support progress towards goals before considering referral for evaluations.
+ Demonstrate a reflective mindset towards his/her instructional practice.
