Responsibilities
- Repair or replace damaged frames, springs and other structural components.
- Restore worn‑out upholstery by replacing or recovering with new fabric or leather.
- Rebuild cushions and padding to restore comfort and functionality.
- Provide quotes and time estimates for upholstery work.
- Ensure that the finished product meets customer expectations in terms of quality, appearance and functionality.
- Inspect all work to ensure it meets quality standards and fix any issues or defects before completing the project.
- Maintain and repair upholstery tools and equipment.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed while using machinery or tools.
- Proficient in using sewing machines, staplers and other upholstery tools.
