Unix Engineer (SOLARIS, SAN, NAS)

Job Summary

This is a hands‑on Unix/Linux/Solaris & Storage (SAN, NAS) position where the individual will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design and implementation of Linux & Storage solutions. In addition, this engineer will be primarily responsible for vulnerability remediation and providing 2nd and 3rd level support for all Server & Storage issues or outages. Ensures the smooth operation of the infrastructure in order to provide maximum security, performance and availability. Maintains close vendor relationships to support current technology solutions and provide roadmap strategies for all Unix & Storage systems. The candidate, also must be flexible to work in 24*7 production environments.
