Unit Manager – ICU Nursing at Netcare is responsible for coordinating improved quality nursing care, ensuring compliance with professional and ethical standards, and leading a multidisciplinary quality assurance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Consistency of Care
  • Financial Management – manage acuity and skill mix to ensure cost‑effective, quality care; oversee department costs, billing, stock management and purchasing.
  • Governance & Quality Management – identify improvement opportunities; develop, implement and measure quality improvement initiatives; capture negative incidents on IMS.
  • Risk Management – investigate adverse events, report accidents, ensure compliance with Occupational Safety Act, maintain asset register and equipment.
• Patient Care
