**Job Overview**
This position coordinates the flow of patient activity and information on the unit/practice areas, based upon currently approved policies and procedures recognized by the hospital. This role, under the direction of clinical leadership, performs a variety of clerical duties, is a liaison to all departments, and is a communication link between patient care, customer service, and the unit. Oversees the work of other unit secretaries within the department/unit.
**Unit Summary**
D4 is a 30 bed intermediate care/stepdown unit. This unit cares primarily for cardiac patients in need of cardiac catheterizations, post STEMI/angioplasty, NSTEMI, post pacemaker insertion, CHF patient’s, Atrial Fibrillation or other cardiac arrhythmia’s and hyper/hypotensive patients, not meeting ICU admission criteria.
**Location** : D4 - Cardiac Unit
**Hours** : 40 Hours (Days) 7am-3:30pm
No weekends, Holidays required (2 summer and 2 winter)...
