Responsibilities

• Underwrite all casualty lines of business within delegated authority.
• Operate within casualty best practices and underwriting guidelines.
• Implement an effective underwriting process to support budget and profitability goals.
• Maintain risk selection in adherence with product guidelines and achieve rate, renewal retention and new business objectives.
• Maintain accurate files and adhere to all standards and service level agreements for premium processing, policy issuance and file maintenance.
• Collaborate with distributions, branch managers and other line(s) of the profit centre to target desirable accounts and cross‑selling opportunities from producers.
