UK Export & Commodity Code Specialist

Morson Edge are currently seeking a Uk Export & Commodity Code Specialist on a contracting basis for our Aerospace client based in Yeovil.

JOB PURPOSE

To ensure that UK Business fully complies with legislative requirements of the UK Government Export Control Legislation and the HMRC Trade Tariff codes regulations, for all traded UK Goods.

KEY JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Carry out assessment of goods, analysing technical data to identify the key characteristics of the Goods, liaising with equipment specialists from Leonardo and vendors, to acquire the necessary information to ensure accurate classification. Then employing a systematic process as required by the UK Government, determine the appropriate UK Trade / Commodity Codes (import and export) in accordance with the HMRC Trade Tariff codes regulations and codification process.
