Job summary
This ST4+ Equivalent Trust Doctor in Paediatrics post at Yeovil District Hospital, Somerset NHS Foundation Trust is a registrar-level opportunity for doctors seeking to further develop their experience in acute paediatrics and neonatology within a supportive NHS environment.
Working Hours and Pattern
Full time, 40 hours per week
Working Monday to Sunday on a full shift rotation
Fixed Term for 12 months
Registrar-level (Tier 2) rota.
1:8 on-call frequency.
Includes: Day shifts, Twilight shifts, Long days, Night shifts
Development Opportunities
The role offers: Exposure to a broad range of acute paediatric and neonatal cases. Teaching and educational activities. Involvement in audit and quality improvement projects. Opportunities to contribute to service development. Support for professional growth, including doctors working towards the Portfolio Pathway (formerly CESR).
