Transportation Supervisor

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate drivers and transportation staff to meet daily operational demands
• Plan and optimize routes, delivery schedules, and vehicle assignments for maximum efficiency
• Monitor vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime
• Conduct driver training, safety briefings, and performance evaluations
• Track fuel usage, mileage, and operating costs to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Investigate and report incidents, accidents, or violations, implementing corrective actions as needed
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, driver logs, and compliance documentation
• Ensure all vehicles are properly licensed, inspected, and equipped with required safety equipment
