Transportation Assistant (Benefits/Travel)

Summary The position is located within the Business Office at the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and works closely with staff to ensure the Beneficiary Travel, Special Mode Transpiration, Fraud Prevention, Patient Funds, and Ambulance billing programs are in compliance. The incumbent is responsible for overall planning, coordination, implementation, management and evaluation of clinical applications of patient transportation with emphasis on improving care of Veterans. Responsibilities Major duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Evaluates all aspects of fraud research and prevention in accordance with Policy. Customer care in accordance with policy and ICARE program. Corrects discrepancies between Veterans Personal Finance System and Financial Management System balances.
