Responsibilities

Manage the transport distribution flow on a daily basis via route planning, always using the most cost effective means available.

To ensure Drivers Hours regulations are complied with and documented, download tacho information and vehicle cards.

Ensure that all process and facilities comply with legal requirements for Health and Safety and other legislation.

To manage the manpower resources within targets to ensure correct levels are maintained to achieve the daily tasks of the department agreeing any additional requirements with the logistics manager.
