Training Specialist - Optical - Full time - Troy

GENERAL SUMMARY:



Responsible for designing, creating, uploading and tracking all web-based educational content with e-learning software. Develop correlating training materials, forms and tools. Architect and construct the Learning Management System (LMS) and manage virtual learning environments. Facilitate web-based and onsite training. Update all training material as needed to ensure consistency with HFO culture, expectations, procedures, equipment and policies.





PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Plan, research, develop, design, create, test, publish and maintain effective, interactive, easy to understand, user-friendly e-learning training content.

· Training curriculum includes job skills, culture, software and EMR systems, optics, optical equipment, customer service/patient care, insurance information, career development and leadership skills.
