The Trailer Mechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining company-owned trailers to keep the fleet safe, compliant, and ready for customer use. This position performs preventive maintenance, DOT-related repairs, brake and suspension work, electrical troubleshooting, door/floor/roof repairs, and other trailer maintenance as needed.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with trailer or heavy equipment repair, takes pride in quality workmanship, and can work safely in a shop or yard environment with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities- Inspect, diagnose, and repair trailers, including brakes, suspension, air systems, lighting, electrical wiring, tires/wheels, landing gear, doors, roofs, floors, and related components.
