Trailer Mechanic Position at XTL Transport

Join XTL Transport as a Trailer Mechanic in Airdrie, where you will utilize your skills to maintain our fleet of trailers and trucks. This position emphasizes safety and mechanical expertise.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various trailer systems. You will work Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, focusing on mechanical and electrical repairs, inspections, and the maintenance of equipment. Your contributions will directly impact our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Repair body damage and electrical systems on trailers
• Conduct routine maintenance and diagnostics
• Keep tools organized and maintain equipment
• Assist with pre and post vehicle inspections
• Report safety and repair issues to the supervisor
Requirements:
• Must possess a Red Seal Technician/CVIP certification
• Experience with reefer units is advantageous
