Hours of work: 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday, with every third Friday or Monday off.

In this role, you will: have a variety of responsibilities including, but not limited to, reviewing design and traffic analysis support for intersections and roadway projects, understanding traffic impact assessments, traffic studies and reviews of TIS submitted by consultants. This role also undertakes traffic safety analysis and uses traffic collision and traffic counts database to develop solutions to traffic signal upgrades aimed at reducing collisions and improving overall network performance. The Traffic Signal & Lighting Engineer manages traffic & lighting engineering/roadway and intersection improvement projects.
