Traffic Management CAD Technician

Position

Traffic Management CAD Technician – Full‑time, permanent, based at the Ipswich depot.

Responsibilities

• Work with Traffic Management development designers and Project Engineers to ensure drawings meet legal and high‑quality standards.
• Produce clear drawings, signage placement layouts, and diversion route strategies.
• Develop safe and efficient traffic management plans for work sites and the road network.
• Carry out on‑site assessments as required.
• Design sites in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Management Scheme.
• Engage with Project Teams and Engineers to adapt designs to working methods that require traffic management solutions compliant with legal standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong knowledge of Traffic Management operations and experience with CAD, BricsCAD, and Cone 11 software.
