Job Description

What is the opportunity? To provide full ‘first line of defence’ trade support coverage to the Commodities trading desks in multiple time zones and markets - Oil and Gas in Calgary (MST) and Houston (CST), Base and Precious Metals in London (GMT), Toronto and New York (EST), Power, Index, Agriculture, Carbon and Precious Metals in Toronto (EST). To ensure the efficient and accurate daily processing of all commodities OTC and Exchange Traded derivatives and physical trades on Openlink systems. This involves completion of trade validation/verification, trade reconciliation, daily/weekly/monthly reporting, daily trade resets/fixing, loading of curves and prices (MTM, settlement, and volatilities) and generation of Intraday flash trading PnL. Ensure smooth run of critical EOD batch processes to mitigate any detrimental impact on downstream feeds, risk reporting and operational losses to the firm.
