Track Maintenance Technician - Etihad Rail

Etihad Rail requires physically resilient Track Maintenance Technicians to inspect railway lines, perform preventative maintenance on steel rails, and ensure the completely safe passage of heavy freight locomotives across the UAE.

Daily Railway Tasks

• Operate heavy mechanical tampers and track-jacking equipment to lift and align sunken sections of the railway line.
• Replace cracked concrete sleepers and broken steel fastening clips quickly before the next scheduled cargo train arrives.
• Clear blowing desert sand and heavy rocks away from the automated track switching points to prevent train derailments.
• Report any deeply rusted metal joints or broken track signals immediately to the central railway control room via handheld radio.
