Tooling Estimator Engineer

Responsibilities

• Mold engineering activities: participate in early product development with product engineers and estimators.
• Quote peripheral equipment and update quote list of equipment.
• Support tool build to resolve processing issues with tool suppliers.
• Audit tool supplier process definition prior to tool move.
• Owner of the bill of process for part process certification in the region.
• Owner of the bill of equipment for statement of work on IMM and peripheral equipment.
• Support new molding equipment installation and start‑up (hands‑on).
• Evaluate new projects/suppliers, release with purchasing.
• Define new technology.
• Support plant operation: troubleshoot, train new engineers/technicians as needed.
• Audit molding performance in NA facilities.
• Participate in product and tool design reviews, DFM, estimating process, ADP projects and global activities.
