Tooling Engineer

Overview

Role summary: Tooling Engineering is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the tools and equipment used in the manufacturing processes. This includes not only the design and development of new tools and equipment, but also the maintenance and repair of existing ones. Also to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the quality of the products being manufactured. They must have a deep understanding of the manufacturing process, materials, and equipment required to produce a product and must be able to diagnose and troubleshoot problems with tools and equipment. They are also responsible for staying current with the latest technology and advancements in the field.
