Our client has a Global presence and has state of the art facilities located near Birmingham. Due to continued expansion they are looking to hire a Tool Room Operative to join their existing team.
The ideal candidate will have hands on experience within a busy Toolroom environment with the ability to work under pressure. The Tool Room Operative will be expected to support the day-to-day production activities in the most efficient manner, working with a team to provide both manufacture of new parts and conduct repairs and maintenance to support the various manufacturing divisions.
Person specification
Experienced in all aspects of press and shear tool manufacture, maintenance and fault finding
Experience with CNC and manual machine work including surface grinding, milling, turning, fixturing and wire EDM
Able to read and understand engineering drawings and work to tolerances as specified » Well organised, multi-skilled, self-motivated, and profes...
